Structured Literacy Approaches 

Years 0 - 8

Funded Places for Y0–8 Teachers, RTLits, RTLBS, LSCs & School Leaders.

The PLD will be delivered over two school terms and comprises the following as a minimum over two phases.

Core delivery: 3 full-day facilitated workshops (face-to-face, online or a hybrid model), and 4 communities of practice (over one term)

Maintenance and support: 4 communities of practice the following term

How to Register

You must apply to the Ministry of Education to be accepted and approved for an Application Reference Number (ARN) before registering with The Kiwi Reading Doctor.

Registrations open in Week Two of each term and are only open for three weeks.

Cohort participant numbers are limited to a maximum of 30. 

Cohort Six is underway. Cohort Seven is about to begin.

Cohort Eight, for Terms Two and Three, 2026, will be open from 16 February to 6 March.
